According to a FATF report, Kenya faces risks from terrorism financing flows, including those involving cryptocurrencies, attributed to various militant groups operating in the region. Namibia’s Financial Intelligence Centre warned of potential adverse effects on foreign direct investment resulting from its inclusion on the ‘grey list’.
