UK-based regtech firm Qomply has appointed Sophia Fulugunya, a former Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulator, as its new director of transaction reporting. Fulugunya brings six years of experience from the FCA, specializing in transaction reporting (MiFID II) and instrument reference data regimes. Her role included in-depth analysis, onboarding of firms using the FCA’s market data processor, and two years in its enforcement division. Fulugunya’s expertise will help Qomply address regulatory requirements and market dynamics, especially in the context of recent enforcement actions related to reporting failures in the financial industry.
