ESGTech and Industry Giants Unite to Launch Clean Energy Procurement Academy for Sustainable Supply Chains

Apple, Amazon, Meta, Nike, PepsiCo, and REI have collaborated to launch the Clean Energy Procurement Academy, aiming to provide companies with the skills and knowledge required to access clean energy. The academy is designed to help companies integrate clean energy into their global supply chains. It will offer training and educational resources to boost companies’ capacity to invest in renewable energy, foster collaboration among industries addressing shared supply chain climate challenges, and encourage companies to escalate their renewable energy goals. The initiative aims to address Scope 3 emissions and decarbonize global supply chains, with a focus on material volumes of greenhouse gas emissions in energy markets.
