Mastercard and the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Dubai have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on fostering talent in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and advancing AI innovation globally.
This partnership aims to prepare the next generation of RIT graduates to become leaders in AI and strengthen the strategic alliances of both Mastercard and RIT in the region. Mastercard will leverage its technical expertise and industry applications to offer guest lectures and workshops for students. Over time, the two institutions will co-develop an AI-focused curriculum. RIT students will also have the opportunity to visit Mastercard’s AI Center in Dubai, engage with industry leaders, and prepare for careers in AI.
This collaboration follows Mastercard’s recent partnership with the UAE government and the establishment of its Advanced AI and Cyber Technology Center in Dubai. The center focuses on developing AI-powered solutions to combat financial crime, secure the digital ecosystem, and promote inclusive growth through strategic partnerships.

RIT Dubai is the global campus of the esteemed Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, a renowned technology-focused university.
