Pynt, a company specializing in API security, has announced the general availability of its innovative security autopilot tool for APIs and has successfully raised $6 million in its latest seed funding round.
The seed funding round was led by Joule Ventures, with significant contributions from Dallas VC and Honeystone VC. Pynt’s security autopilot tool aims to address the growing concerns about security vulnerabilities within APIs, which are essential for modern applications and account for over 83% of internet traffic.
Pynt’s unique offering simulates white-hat hackers, using human-like reasoning to identify vulnerabilities in APIs before real-world hackers can exploit them. The solution seamlessly integrates with popular API development platforms like Postman, providing an automated security solution for developers.
Pynt offers both freemium and enterprise packages and already counts several Fortune 500 companies among its clients. The platform not only identifies vulnerabilities but also generates detailed reports, dashboards, and insights to help with remediation.
