AI/MLInfosys Expands Collaboration with Google Cloud to Develop Industry-Specific Generative AI Solutions

Infosys, the Indian IT giant, is expanding its partnership with Google Cloud to develop industry-specific artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for enterprises. As part of this expansion, Infosys will establish global generative AI Labs to accelerate the development of AI solutions that can be embedded in business processes. They will leverage Google Cloud’s generative AI solutions and Infosys’ in-house Topaz offerings.

In addition to creating these AI solutions, Infosys will train 20,000 practitioners on Google Cloud’s AI solutions to ensure they have the expertise to develop, implement, and manage generative AI projects. The partnership aims to develop a suite of generative AI solutions and platforms to address large and complex problems in both business and technology domains, covering use cases like consumer AI, autonomous supply chain, and anti-money laundering.

This collaboration will also leverage Infosys’ existing data, analytics, and AI expertise to create effective solutions. By combining Google Cloud’s generative AI capabilities with Infosys’ offerings, they aim to help enterprises transform and future-proof their businesses with strong digital, cloud, and next-generation AI capabilities.

The partnership is a response to the growing demand for generative AI solutions, with companies across various sectors looking to leverage AI to improve efficiency and create value. It comes at a time when AI is becoming a new frontier of competition, and the global AI market is expected to continue growing substantially.
