Big 4 CornerDeloitte Partners with Leading Academic Institutions to Expand Sustainability Upskilling Program for U.S. Professionals

Deloitte, the global professional services firm, has announced collaborations with academic institutions, including MIT Sloan School of Management, NYU Stern Executive Education and Center for Sustainable Business, and Arizona State University (ASU), to expand its sustainability, climate, and equity upskilling program for its 150,000+ professionals in the U.S. The program, offered across Deloitte’s Consulting, Risk & Financial Advisory, Tax, and Audit & Assurance businesses, aims to enhance professionals’ abilities to help clients address sustainability, climate, and equity issues. The expanded upskilling program includes collaborations such as “Sustainability Simplified” by NYU Stern, the “Sustainability Accelerator” by MIT Sloan, and ASU’s “Sustainability Certified: Foundations for Business,” offering an ESG certificate. This initiative follows Deloitte’s global Sustainability & Climate learning program launched last year and a $1 billion investment in its Global Sustainability & Climate practice in 2021.
