The Supreme People’s Procuratorate has announced the indictment of Li Chunsheng, former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of Guangdong Provincial People’s Congress, on charges of accepting bribes. The case has been filed by the People’s Procuratorate of Chenzhou, Hunan Province, and will be heard by the city’s intermediate people’s court. Prosecutors allege that Li used his positions to secure benefits for others and accepted significant amounts of money and valuables in return.
