The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has introduced its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Academy, designed to educate professionals in the global re/insurance sector about ESG-related matters.

The academy offers a wide range of courses designed to provide professionals within the Lloyd’s market with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the evolving ESG landscape and enhance risk management practices.

The courses are delivered through three learning pathways, and they can be accessed online, virtually, or in-person. The curriculum is designed to equip re/insurance professionals at all levels with practical knowledge of sustainability. It also includes courses tailored for senior leaders seeking in-depth knowledge in this area.

The LMA ESG Academy was developed in collaboration with leading external ESG advisors, including the Better Insurance Network. It is viewed as a significant step in the insurance industry’s journey toward greater sustainability, responding to growing ESG concerns from stakeholders.
