Global professional services firm Deloitte and tech giant IBM have announced a new global collaboration to help organizations accelerate emissions reduction strategies and streamline sustainable transformation. The collaboration leverages each company’s sustainability solutions, allowing Deloitte’s clients to integrate data from the IBM Envizi ESG Suite with Deloitte’s GreenLight Solution.
IBM’s acquisition of Envizi in 2022 enhanced its AI-powered ESG solutions capabilities. Envizi’s platform consolidates ESG data into a single system of record, supports greenhouse gas emissions calculations, facilitates ESG reporting, and provides data-driven insights for decarbonization projects.
Deloitte’s GreenLight Solution, launched earlier this year, is an AI-based decarbonization software tool designed to help organizations build emissions reduction strategies. The collaboration offers GreenLight Solution clients access to various IBM solutions, including ESG data collection and reporting, green facilities and operations management, green IT and cloud migrations, and sustainability optimization.
