Vizcab, a sustainable building design software provider, has raised €5 million (USD$5.5 million) in a Series A funding round to support the acceleration of net-zero efforts in the construction industry. The Lyon-based company offers a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that calculates Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to reduce the carbon impact of construction projects, aiding real estate developers, architects, and construction engineers. The funding will be used to support the company’s growth and expand operations across Europe. The round was led by decarbonization-focused VC firm KOMPAS VC, with participation from Rise PropTech Fund, Cemex Ventures, Altur Investissement, A/O, and Banque des Territoires.
