HubSpot has also received validation from the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) for its emissions reduction targets, including a 47% reduction in absolute scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions and a 55% reduction in scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions from business travel per employee by 2030. The company aims to ensure that 70% of suppliers, by spend, have science-based targets by 2027 and plans to reduce absolute scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 90% by 2040, all on a 2019 base year.
