Sanctions Notice – ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida — GFSC

Please be advised that the Security Council Committee pursuant to Resolution 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida have removed the following entry from its sanctions list:

HAJJAJ BIN FAHD AL AJMI (QDi.328)

The assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 2734 (2024) and adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations accordingly no longer apply to the entry.

The United Nations Security Council Consolidated List has been updated and is accessible here.

The changes to the UN Consolidated List are automatically effective in the UK under the Sudan (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 (“the UK Regulations”).

The UK regulations are given effect within the Bailiwick under the Sanctions (Implementation of UK Regimes) (Bailiwick of Guernsey) (Brexit) Regulations, 2020 that have been made under the Sanctions (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2018 (the Sanctions Law).
